Jobs

The Coastal Chinook Research and Monitoring Program (CCRMP) hires numerous seasonal Biological Scientist Assistants (BSAs) through Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) to conduct creel, mark-recapture, spawning ground surveys, and coded wire tag studies. Depending on the role and location, seasons start in July-October and end in November-February. Work can typically be based out of Nehalem, Tillamook, Otis, Newport, Corvallis, Springfield, and Port Orford. BSAs are valued members of our team.

Job announcements and decisions are typically made in the spring through early summer. Available positions can be found at Oregon Job Opportunities using the keyword ODFW.
